HTC Desire 500 officially announced with Quad Core processor

HTC has finally officially announced HTC Desire 500 Android smartphone in Taiwan today with quad core processor & Android 4.2 Jelly Bean latest OS version. Front side of the smartphone is inspired from HTC One S but it comes with plastic body design instead of metal. Company has mainly targeted this smartphone for the younger audience in Taiwanese market. The phone will be available in the open market of Taiwan from tomorrow(24-july-2013) but there is no information on the international availability yet including India.


Features wise, HTC Desire 500 comes with a 4.3inch touch screen display along with 480*800 pixels resolution. The phone is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 Quad Core processor along with 1GB of RAM memory. The phone is running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system along with HTC Sense User Interface.


It comes with 4GB of internal storage, which is expendable via microSd card slot. It comes with 8MP of rear camera with LED flash and auto focus support & BSI sensor. It also comes with a 1.6MP front facing camera for video calling support. For connectivity the smartphone comes with Bluetooth, WiFi and NFC features. It is powered by a 1800mAh battery and comes with beats audio technology.


HTC has also included some cool software features in the smartphone like Blinkfeed & Video Highlights. The phone will be available to buy in variety of color choices. We will update you more when HTC will launch it in the Indian smartphone market.
